S.H Monsterarts - Kiryu / Mechagodzilla 2002 by GIGAN05 S.H Monsterarts - Kiryu / Mechagodzilla 2002 by GIGAN05

After what seems an eternity, the next monsterarts was announced today. And its something that no one was expecting. The 2002 Mechagodzilla, other wise known as Kiryu!

It will be released this fall for over 10,000 JPY. And considering what it is coming with + possible diecast content, that price is justified. No dick moves by Tamashii to release the jet pack separately as a web exclusive ( GARRRRUUUUDDDDDDAAAAA! ). Ahem. The articulation looks to be insane on this thing by the way ...

Sadly, it looks as if I wont be able to get this one til Christmas this year or early next year. Import taxes have tightened here in the UK and not even gifts are safe now :(. So my collecting is cutting back as a result and thus photos will be late. Sorry folks. But I am ok with that considering that I have the 2003 GD-45 Chogokin Kiryu so I am not in a rush to get this.

None the less, this made my day. And proves that Tamashii Nations can tear down barriers between eras when it comes to Monsterarts.

They are on a hinge, and if played with too much they might break off.
